Our first Easter in Muscat… My wife color all those eggs with onion skin.
Check out how we make it.

You Will Need

Organic white eggs (1 dozen)

Skins of red onions

2 tsp white vinegar

  1. Collect as many Red onion skins you can.
  2. Soak the onion skins in cold water with the vinegar overnight. After soaking bring the onion skins to a boil and simmer for about 30 minutes and allow to cool.
  3. Soak the eggs in salt water for 30 min then hard boil the eggs.
  4. Add the eggs to the onion skin water and boil for 20 minutes.
  5. Allow cooling then pat the eggs dry with a paper towel.
    And we are ready for Easter.
